It’s been a busy week but I’ve taken a few time outs to see what other blogs are writing about. Today we find out that Barack Obama is related to Dick Cheney and Bush. This is relevant to private investigations because it allows me to mention that there’s a specialty of investigations known as forensic genealogy or missing heir investigations. This type of investigation is used in estate and probate matters, to track down, locate and notify potential inheritors and to determine whether a long lost heir who is stepping forward does indeed hold a valid interest in an estate.
